Phenotype
Ecotype from Yamaoka-cho, Gifu Prefecture, Central of Honshu Island (Japan); large rosettes with numerous leaves, dark-green plants; initial rosette leaves are wide with short petiols, later leaves are narrower; almost smooth leaf margins; very late flowering (may require vernalization at rosette stage); numerous axillary inflorescences and lateral branches with many oval cauline leaves; numerous adventitious rosettes growing throught the plant; height=55-65cm; donated seeds were from a selfed generation of a single individual derived from the original collection; collector: Hirokazu Tsukaya.
